The launch of our exciting Spring 2026 season is coming soon! Join us on Saturday, Feb 07 for our New Member Orientation (starting at 11:30 AM) and Member Retreat (12:00-5:00 PM).
If you are a returning member, please consider applying to become a mentor. Jennifer is looking for members who have completed at least one season with the choir and who are kind, patient, and willing to help welcome and support our new members as they get settled. Mentors should plan to attend the New Member Orientation and Member Retreat.

Dear Choir Fam,
I hope your weekend is off to a lovely start! We are still in the process of hearing from potential new show choir members, and as we move into this season, I’d love to bring back our mentorship program.
I’m looking for members who have completed at least one season with the choir and who are kind, patient, and willing to help welcome and support our new members as they get settled. Mentors play an important role in helping build community and making everyone feel at home.

Well, hello there, Choirmates!
Feels like it’s been FOREVER, doesn’t it? We’ve enjoyed seeing a few of you here and there, and we’ve certainly been thinking of you—especially this past week as we met some wonderful potential new members during the first rounds of vocal auditions.
Speaking of that, we did open up one more evening—Monday, January 26—for vocal auditions. Please encourage any interested singers to sign up! And as you do, remember to mention some very exciting features of the Spring ’26 season, including:
A workshop with two Broadway musical-theater professionals on June 1. These are two of the same fabulous mentors we met with last summer in New York City!
The opportunity to perform in our June 13 end-of-season show at the Hobby Center—the jewel of Houston’s Theater District!
Our post-show trip to Universal Studios in Orlando! If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time. Please see all the information below.

The trip has now been adjusted to require a lower number of attendees, and we reduced the trip by one day. The revised dates are Wednesday June 17, 2026 to Saturday June 20, 2026.

On the next screen you should choose the option to "Access Account" and then you will be prompted to create an account using your email address or your personal Google account.
If you have previously created an account with ETA, you may sign into your existing account to make a reservation and you will not need to create a new account.
Once you are into your account, select Add a New Trip, and then enter houston26.
You should see your trip details at that point, and then select Make a New Reservation and complete ALL fields.

Please no Texting or Answering your Phone during rehearsals.
Step out if there is a need to use your phone.
Timeliness
Be on time to rehearsals and coming back from rehearsal breaks

You must attend 70% of rehearsals before you risk being asked to step down from the show.
This equates to 6 total absences during this season.
If you already know of any pre-planned absences after reviewing the calendar, please notify your Section Leader ASAP so that they can take note of the future absence.
When you are going to be absent, you need to notify your Section Leader and Artistic Director.
Also note that you are marked Tardy if you join rehearsal after 6:45PM, regardless of the reason.
After your 3rd Absence you may be asked to test your knowledge of the music and/or choreography.
