All members of Houston Show Choir are skilled, auditioned singers who have a passion for their art. The choir performs choral arrangements in a variety of popular styles. Choreographed movement and staging are an integral part of performances, along with vibrant costumes and props.

One portion of the choir rehearses on Monday evenings, and another rehearses on Wednesday evenings.

During the audition process, each candidate will present a brief vocal number of their own choice and will also experience the type of choreography that is performed within Houston Show Choir. Successful candidates will be placed in the Monday or Wednesday ensemble of the choir according to audition results, as determined by the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director.

The full Houston Show Choir (combining Monday and Wednesday ensembles) produces an exciting end-of-season show that is distinctive and dynamic. In addition, the choir might perform in the Greater Houston community for occasions such as festivals, holiday celebrations, corporate engagements, and private events.

Houston Show Choir has two performance seasons. The Spring season starts in mid-January and ends in mid-June. The Fall season runs from mid-August to mid-December.
