Artistic Director’s Digest

Hello all,

Thank you for your solo submissions! We are still working our way through the videos and finalizing decisions. We will let you know as soon as everything is set, and our hope is to have that done by the end of the week.

The exception is for those who auditioned for “Landslide.” If you are being called back, you will receive an email by the end of today with details about Monday. If you do not hear from me by 5:00 PM, feel free to send me a quick email.

Tickets for the show are officially on sale! Shout out to Abi for the cool announcement—check it out if you haven’t already. And while you’re at it, invite at least three friends to the show this week. Let’s make it our biggest one yet!

That’s it for now. Thank you for all you do, and thank you for the music.

Jennifer

Dream BIG with the Executive Directors!

Greetings, Choirmates!

With the first week of March behind us, solo auditions submitted, and lots of choreo already being learned, our spring show is really taking shape. Can you feel the big Texas love in our repertoire?

Ticket sales are now open to the general public, so let’s share our excitement with them! Our database of about 1,600 received personal emails last week with a link to purchase tickets, and Abi, our Director of Marketing, is burning up the social media channels to promote the show.

What can you do?

  1. “Like” and share every social media post about Houston Show Choir on your own profile.

  2. Personally invite your family and friends to come see you in the show.

  3. Show off your HSC swag whenever and wherever possible. It’s a conversation starter!

  4. Practice on your own, and envision that full house at Hobby Center cheering for us on June 13.

  5. Make it easy for your fans to buy tickets by sharing the Hobby Center ticketing page with them.

Thank you for your beautiful part in this choir, for making this show a rousing success, and for furthering our vision of...

Sharing the joy,

Mark & Van

It’s not too late to get your own keepsake copy of the professional recording of Home for the Holidays! HSC paid professional videographers and editors to capture, curate, and composite the very best footage from both performances! Our ability to continue providing professional recordings is thanks to your generous support. If you would like your own copy of Home for the Holidays as a keepsake and to share with your fans, simply make a donation in the amount of $25.00 at www.houstonshowchoir.org/donations, and we will email you a link to the downloadable recording.
